SC. 03 — THE ROAD

Three stages. The order is deliberate.

You start from anywhere in the world and end up on a real set. What sits in between is a filter based on your own work.

You study online

The platform is open to anyone. Recorded lessons, live sessions, and weekly assignments you upload and get graded on. There's no entrance exam here — the door is open.

This academy comes out of a production house, not a lecture hall.

El Adl Group is an Egyptian production company founded in 1997, with a long record of betting on new faces before anyone knew them. The academy is that bet turned into a system instead of a coincidence.

Stand in front of the camera knowing what you're doing

Acting isn't a feeling that just arrives. There are tools you learn: how to control your body and your voice, how to read a text and pull a character with real logic out of it, and how to repeat the same moment ten times and keep it honest. This track hands you those tools one at a time, and ends with work you can send to any casting director.

Picture and sound are what actually deliver the scene

You can write the best scene and cast the best actor, and if the light is wrong or the sound is dirty the scene dies. This track is about the technical crafts that turn an idea into an image and a sound that carry feeling — from the lens to the lighting, and then to the room where rhythm gets made.

The first module starts from zero: what exposure actually is, and how a camera sees differently from your eye.

You work in one department and want the rest

If you shoot but don't understand the edit — or the other way round — this track closes that gap.

Producing isn't paperwork and expenses. It's the decision that lets a project get shot on time and on budget without breaking the idea. This track teaches you to break a script down into elements and costs, build a schedule that survives the day falling apart, and keep a crew moving without the work stopping.

How we choose who teaches

They have to be working now

We don't sign people who left the industry. An instructor here needs work screening this year — because what changes in this craft changes fast.

They have to be able to explain

Mastery alone isn't enough. We test whether a candidate can break down what they do on instinct into steps that can be handed over.

03

They have to accept review

Every instructor is rated by their students at the end of each intake. Those ratings get read and acted on — not filed away.

SC. 03 — SESSIONS

Plus monthly sessions with people behind work you know

Alongside the permanent instructors, there's one live session a month on the platform with someone who has worked with El Adl Group over the years — an actor walking through a career, a director reading a scene in front of you, a producer explaining how the call gets made. Names are announced with each intake, and sessions are recorded and stay in your library.

A production company decided to open its workshop

El Adl Group is an Egyptian production company founded in 1997 by the El Adl family. Its first feature, «Sa'idi at the American University» in 1998, launched a generation of actors who went on to become some of the biggest names in the industry.

Since then the company has produced more than sixty films and drama series. The academy is an attempt to take the thing that used to happen by accident — someone new getting seen and getting a chance — and turn it into a working system that's open to anyone, anywhere.

The questions we get asked most

Is the certificate officially accredited?

The certificate is issued and backed by El Adl Group — a production house running since 1997 with more than sixty titles behind it. It is not an academic degree from an official education body, but in this industry it carries more weight than one: a name the people who hire already know.

Do I need prior experience?

No. The platform is open to anyone starting from zero, and every track begins with a foundation level before it goes into detail.

I live outside Egypt — can I join the workshop?

Yes. Either you come to the workshop in Cairo or Saudi Arabia, or you join one at a partner studio near you once we open in your country.

Do you guarantee work after graduation?

Nobody can guarantee that, and saying otherwise would not be honest. What we do guarantee is that your work reaches people who actually hire in this industry.
